The Global Center for Religious Research presents:
Religious Trauma Studies Certification Program
CALLING ALL MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS, ADVOCATES, SPIRITUAL LEADERS, AND STUDENTS
Get a Professional Certificate of Completion for 32+ hours worth of content with GCRR's Religious Trauma Studies Certification Course
(and for a fraction of the cost of traditional CEUs or University level courses... we might add!)
Our Certification Course is a culmination of all the resources that we have gathered to date in our research program, organized in an easily accessible fashion, and available in a self-paced, on-demand environment.
You’ve found that your original degree, and even continuing education has not prepared you to tackle and pull apart the web of interconnected falsities and mental-health tripwires that come from a life ingrained with coercive religious indoctrination.
You’ve had clients who you’ve found to be mentally and emotionally injured by their deeply held religious beliefs but navigating the boundaries of facilitating the support they need while respecting where they are in their spiritual journey and their potential on-going need or desire to remain in their church community has proven challenging.
With our Religious Trauma certification course, you can become equipped with an arsenal of knowledge and tools that you can immediately implement to improve your practice and provide the real care your subjects need
Upon completion of the course you will receive an official GCRR certificate that you may use to apply for CEUs or add as a qualified credential on your resume or CV. In addition you can add Religious Trauma therapy to your list of offerings for existing and prospective clients.
You will also have continuous access to all the material as well as additional content, as we acquire it, to stay up-to-date on new developments as we grow the program.
Outcomes:
1. Learn the effects of shame, perceived failure, and self-criticism.
2. Learn how religious trauma affects the nervous system.
3. Learn about developmental religious trauma.
4. Learn about EMDR and entheogenic therapies in treating religious trauma.
5. Learn to employ best therapeutic techniques in supporting patients suffering from religious trauma.
